Laura is a visionary designer and accomplished entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in the interior design industry. Her work spans healthcare, senior living, commercial, and luxury residential spaces, with hundreds of projects completed across the U.S. and the Caribbean.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Laura quickly rose through the ranks of the industry. Her early success led to the co-founding of in.design, where she spent more than 20 years leading teams and creating impactful spaces grounded in creativity, precision, and client-focused planning.

She later founded Atelier Interiors to offer a more collaborative and personalized approach to design. As Laura often says, “There are no stripes at Atelier. Everyone has an equal voice. That’s our superpower.” Her leadership philosophy fosters a culture of creativity, mutual respect, and excellence.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her husband and children, and inspiring women through her Your Beautiful Midlife YouTube channel. Her message: It’s never too late to pursue your dreams and create a life you love.

With over two decades of experience, Assel brings global perspective, design expertise, and operational precision to her role as Director of Design at Atelier Interiors. Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, her upbringing, shaped by her mother’s artistic sensibility and her father’s military discipline, sparked a lifelong passion for creativity, structure, and design excellence.

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Assel is fluent in English, Russian, and Kazakh, allowing her to collaborate seamlessly with international teams and clients. Her portfolio includes senior living, multi-family residential, and luxury hospitality projects for esteemed brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Related Group, and Avalon Communities. She has successfully managed projects across Kazakhstan, Russia, the UAE, and the U.S., blending cultural insight with a thoughtful design approach.

Assel is highly regarded for her ability to lead complex, budget-conscious projects from concept through completion. Her strengths lie in code compliance, procurement, and contract coordination, ensuring each project is executed with efficiency and integrity.

When she's not transforming spaces, Assel enjoys life as a devoted mother, rare plant enthusiast, and connoisseur of the perfect cup of coffee.

Jalanda is a multifaceted designer with a unique background in art, design, and performance. Born and raised in South Florida, she nurtured her artistic talents from a young age, eventually studying art and design at Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Drawing on years of experience in the fashion world, Jalanda understands the power of aesthetics and how a well-designed space, like a well-tailored garment, can evoke emotions and tell a story. From the initial spark of inspiration to the final finishing touch, Jalanda brings a keen eye for detail and a flair for mixing textures, colors, and styles—blending aesthetics with functionality. Each project is an opportunity to turn a client’s vision into a beautifully executed reality—combining the art of interior design with the creativity, elegance, and sophistication of the fashion industry.

Beyond the walls and decor, Jalanda finds inspiration in the world around her—nature, travel, art, and the stories of the people she works with. Her collaborative spirit ensures that each design is a true reflection of her clients' personalities and lifestyles. A lover of art in all forms, Jalanda often spends her free time engaging in various artistic projects, including sewing, painting, and home improvement projects.

Faizan is passionate about creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. With a background in engineering and over seven years of hands-on experience across various fields, he brings a well-rounded perspective to every project, always focusing on making it unique and tailored to the needs of those who use it.

Having worked with clients from around the world, Faizan’s experience with diverse cultures has greatly influenced his approach to design. He specializes in customized residential and commercial interiors, blending natural textures with modern aesthetics to create timeless spaces. Sustainability is important to him, and he consistently seeks innovative ways to incorporate eco-friendly solutions without sacrificing style or comfort.

Throughout his career, Faizan has collaborated with renowned architectural firms such as Hyecorp Property Group, SRH Architecture, and Charles Tang Design. These opportunities have refined his skills and allowed him to work on a wide range of projects.

Outside of work, Faizan is dedicated to giving back to his community by contributing to charity organizations and supporting meaningful causes. He enjoys staying active in the world of sports, playing, watching, and keeping up with the latest updates.
