Laura Rachlin
Laura is a visionary designer and accomplished entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in the interior design industry. Her work spans healthcare, senior living, commercial, and luxury residential spaces, with hundreds of projects completed across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Laura quickly rose through the ranks of the industry. Her early success led to the co-founding of in.design, where she spent more than 20 years leading teams and creating impactful spaces grounded in creativity, precision, and client-focused planning.
She later founded Atelier Interiors to offer a more collaborative and personalized approach to design. As Laura often says, “There are no stripes at Atelier. Everyone has an equal voice. That’s our superpower.” Her leadership philosophy fosters a culture of creativity, mutual respect, and excellence.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her husband and children, and inspiring women through her Your Beautiful Midlife YouTube channel. Her message: It’s never too late to pursue your dreams and create a life you love.
Michelle Ashmore
Ensuring the smooth operation of Atelier Interiors’ internal processes, Michelle keeps the team focused on what they do best, designing exceptional spaces.
Her role spans financial management, furniture specifications, and procurement oversight. She also provides design support, helping translate creative concepts into reality while keeping timelines on track and processes streamlined. Whether troubleshooting challenges or managing the moving parts of a complex project, her focus is always on delivering outstanding results.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from George Mason University and brings strong communication skills to every interaction facilitating clear, effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She stays energized through strength training, finds inspiration in books and new destinations, and values quiet moments of meditation that help her approach each day with clarity and purpose.
Morgan Rubenstein
Morgan brings a well-rounded design perspective to Atelier Interiors, blending aesthetic creativity with technical and functional expertise. Raised in a family deeply rooted in furniture and interior design, she developed an early passion for the built environment and went on to earn her degree in Interior Design from Indiana University, completing her NCIDQ certification in 2019.
Originally from the Midwest, Morgan relocated to Florida with her family to embark on a new chapter. She brings years of experience in workplace, hospitality, and higher education design, guiding clients through the process to deliver adaptable, creative, and functional solutions. Her passion for furniture and eye for detail help bring a holistic perspective to each project, drawing inspiration from both her travels and her exploration of South Florida to create spaces with identity and purpose.
On weekends, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and their dog. You'll often find her at the sports field cheering on her kids, planning her next travel destination, cooking, or indulging in her love of skincare and wellness.
Yamilet Peña
Yamilet works across the full arc of a project, from early planning and concept development through construction documentation and administration, coordinating directly with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors along the way to keep design intent intact from first drawing to final install.
She holds a Master of Interior Architecture and brings hands-on experience in space planning, 3D visualization, finish and material selection, FF&E coordination, and BIM documentation using Revit and AutoCAD. She works to balance creative thinking with technical precision, developing environments that are both inspiring and practical to live and work in.
Her background is in graphic design, and it shows in how she presents work. Ideas come across clearly from concept through execution, giving clients a real sense of the space long before it's built. She believes the strongest rooms come from balancing beauty, function, and the people who'll actually use them.
Driven by curiosity and a genuine interest in how people use the spaces they inhabit, Yamilet brings collaboration and attention to detail to every project she takes on.
Andrea Jimenez
Andrea brings an architectural background to Atelier Interiors, with a strong understanding of space, proportion, and how design choices affect the way a room feels and functions.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture in Peru, where she built a foundation in spatial planning and design development. She later moved to Miami to pursue a Master's degree in Interior Architecture at Florida International University, bringing her focus closer to interiors and the way people experience the spaces around them.
Her perspective is shaped by culture, context, and everyday life. She is especially interested in how architecture and interiors work together, from the larger structure of a space to the smaller details that make it feel personal, balanced, and comfortable.
During her free time she loves discovering new places, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing at the beach. She also finds inspiration in the everyday moments that make life feel balanced and meaningful.
Faizan Shabbir
Faizan is passionate about creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. With a background in engineering and over seven years of hands-on experience across various fields, he brings a well-rounded perspective to every project, always focusing on making it unique and tailored to the needs of those who use it.
Having worked with clients from around the world, Faizan’s experience with diverse cultures has greatly influenced his approach to design. He specializes in customized residential and commercial interiors, blending natural textures with modern aesthetics to create timeless spaces. Sustainability is important to him, and he consistently seeks innovative ways to incorporate eco-friendly solutions without sacrificing style or comfort.
Throughout his career, Faizan has collaborated with renowned architectural firms such as Hyecorp Property Group, SRH Architecture, and Charles Tang Design. These opportunities have refined his skills and allowed him to work on a wide range of projects.
Outside of work, Faizan is dedicated to giving back to his community by contributing to charity organizations and supporting meaningful causes. He enjoys staying active in the world of sports, playing, watching, and keeping up with the latest updates.
Sage Tebon
Sage is entering her second year in the Interior Design program at Palm Beach State College, building on two years of hands-on work in the field, including two internships.
Her early interest in design centered on residential interiors. At Atelier, she's been introduced to commercial and healthcare work, expanding the range of projects she gets to work on.
She especially enjoys projects that create thoughtful spaces and leave a real, positive impact on the people who use them.
